SEVERNA PARK MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSIC BOOSTERS, INC.

The Severna Park Middle School Music Boosters [Music Boosters] organization is a parent-run non-profit organization dedicated to providing volunteers and raising funds to support and maintain a quality Instrumental program at Severna Park Middle School.  The Music Boosters is governed by an Executive Board that meets regularly to plan and manage the business affairs of the non-profit organization.

A general membership meeting, open to all Music Boosters, is usually held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm on Google Meet.  Parents are encouraged to attend the meetings as these meetings are often the best way to find out the latest news about the Music program and its activities. These meetings also provide an opportunity to socialize with other Music parents and pose questions directly to the Music Director. 

Our Mission Statement

The Severna Park Middle School Music Boosters' mission is to create learning opportunities, promote and encourage music education, and provide music-centric activities to all Severna Park Middle School Band & Orchestra students.

To achieve our mission, our goals are: 

• to provide financial support to the instrumental music program;

• to encourage students to strive for excellence in the art of music;

• to give optimistic and positive support to the Music Director and all members of the band and orchestra and;

• to develop community awareness of the efforts of our instrumental students and appreciation for their achievements
